Oregonians Credit Union Background
Oregonians Credit Union is a member-owned, democratically controlled, not-for-profit financial cooperative. We offer similar financial products and services as a bank, but what makes us different is the money earned by the credit union is returned to our members in the form of services, lower fees, higher dividend rates on savings and lower rates on loans. We are in business to serve our members, unlike banks that are in business to create earnings for their shareholders.
Our Mission is to partner with our members via competitively priced financial services, offering them in an efficient, personal and friendly manner so that each member will consider Oregonians CU his/her primary financial institution. This partnership will include financial education offerings to help members achieve financial success.
You are eligible for membership with Oregonians Credit Union if you or your parents are employed or retired from one of our 3,000+ select employee groups throughout the Northwest, or if you are a member of one of our affiliated associations (such as a church or club) or if you are an immediate family member of an Oregonians Credit Union member.
