//BALANCING SCHOOL AND A JOB
Balancing school and a job can be a challenge, but it all comes down to priorities. Everyone agrees that school should be priority number one. Here are a few ideas to help you stay focused while balancing school and work:
- Plan your work and study schedules as far ahead of time as possible to avoid time conflicts.
- Use your time wisely. If you have to wait in a line for ten minutes, go over a reading assignment. If your job has downtime and your boss has no objection, use the time to do schoolwork.
- If things get too crazy, admit it. Talk to a school counselor if you need to discuss your situation with someone.
- Schedule free time. Everyone needs time to chill and hang with friends. Don’t miss out on your high school years.
